A tribute to a special lady.
Recently, a wonderful woman stepped up to the plate to help us here at SwiftDogz and we would like to extend our thanks for everyone to see!
Claire Zimmerman and her children pulled together a wonderful supply drive, visiting people in their neighborhood to collect items, which were on our wish list. Together, they collected blankets, food, toys, treats, and cleaning supplies and even monitary donations. These items serve us as valuable, due to the extreme cost we endure every month on cleaning and other supplies for our Swiftdogz to remain comfortable. We would like to thank the entire Wynfield Community for helping us in our efforts. We at Swiftdogz want to be sure that each and every person knows how appreciated these spuulies are to us.
So, a special thanks to Claire Zimmerman and her family for assisting us, we will never forget how kind your hearts are! Paws-itively yours, Jenni.
A move ahead for Swiftdogz
Recently, we were provided with a letter of Eviction from our landlord, stating that we have only 35 days to find a new dwelling as he plans to use the house as an office and distribution center for his farm business. For those of you who have visited the vast 80-acre farm we resided, you understand how much this farm means to Robert and I - not to mention the picture-perfect opportunity we are provided when we awake e'ry morn. This house (although rented) was our first house, and we cherish the short memory we have in the fields surrounding our small bungalow home...We have resided here two years, and each day was an adventure. To us, this house was a place where our dogs could be happy; this house is where Robert and I have begun our lives together. The long walks we took to the swimming hole , while the dogs ran along beside - out of harms way. The calm, quiet of the afternoon, and the gentle breeze, which makes the crops sway with laughter will always remain a part of me. I will never forget the way the sunshine would peer down, inviting us to visit the fields one more time. We have been told by many that this farm is a dogs' haven, and that our place was a piece of heav'n...but like all good things, this will come to an end. Though the farm will be missed by all, better places are on the horizon for us at Swiftdogz, and we will be sure to update all of you when the time arrives.
