Canines Can Change - Classroom Program: This
is a Program that Jenni created several years
back, before anyone else. We did most of the grunt work to get into several
school systems and other social programs. Now this program can be found all
across this state and other states across the country. This program takes
certain rescues that we temperament tested and would implement into this
program. Jenni would go into Special Needs
classes or Self Contained classes and let the kids train the canines to
pass the AKC’s CGC test by the end of the
seven weeks. This program helped kids learn a wide range of life lessons,
ranging from how to care for an animal to how to appreciate the love an
animal can share with the human handler. This built team building with in
the class, gave the kids responsibility that they never have been given the
chance to experience. It also allowed them to open up and learn in a fun
environment where they could see the progress at the en of the day, which
encouraged them to do better in the classroom the rest of the time. At the
end of this course these dogs would find new homes and have a foundation of
training and exposure to many environments even before they go to there new
home. ** This is the main
program that has been copied. We do not associate with any of the other
groups or businesses that use the same type of programs due to the lack of
control and not having the ability to screen the dogs ourselves that are
used. Also some of the other groups use this for profit and may not treat
the dogs to our specifications. So please be careful if you intend to use a

Jenni would bring a group of dogs and talk to all
age groups in classes about canine care and safety tips. We would also do
demonstrations on what tricks and different jobs dogs can do. Canines Can Change – Placements: This
program is the hardest to do. We did this several times where the teachers
adopted the canine like it was a permanent placement and used the dog for
the length desired for teaching purposes. This was mainly for self
contained classes, where the teacher was given permission and had a great
amount of control in the environment. ** This program that has been copied.
